Cast acrylic sheet is produced through the polymerization of methyl methacrylate monomer (MMA) using two sheets of high-precision specialty glass as the casting frames.  Extruded acrylic sheet is made in a continuous extrusion process by feeding PMMA resin into the extrusion machine.
