“Aerosol Box” serves as a protection for doctors and nurses in hospitals and clinics for the purpose of treating COVID-19 patients, especially during the intubation process and other medical treatment procedures that may generate contagious aerosol and droplets.
The aerosol box, made by ASTARIGLAS® GP Crystal Clear cast acrylic sheet, is lightweight and portable. With this advantage, doctors are able to treat more patients by moving the aerosol box instead of moving the patients.
The aerosol box can be easily cleaned and sanitized with various disinfectants. Therefore it can be re-used with quick turnaround time. Especially in times of inadequate supply of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), the aerosol box will keep our doctors and nurses safe and protected while treating the patients.

ASTARIGLAS® cast acrylic sheet has >92% Light Transmission (highest amongst all polymers and plastics) and no optical distortion from every angle of view (better than extruded acrylic sheet).
- Excellent chemical resistance
ASTARIGLAS® cast acrylic sheet has a very high molecular weight (about 3-4 times higher than extruded acrylic sheet).Hence it has an excellent chemical resistance which allows the material to be safely cleaned and sanitized by most disinfectants and cleaning agents without degrading the quality.
