Les œuvres d'art et les photographies précieuses sont souvent protégées par une feuille d'acrylique. Cependant, la surface brillante de l'acrylique standard peut parfois capter la lumière, entraînant des reflets indésirables et distrayants.
ASTARIGLAS® AG (Anti-Reflet) est une feuille acrylique coulée anti-reflet (non-brillante) conçue pour réduire l'éblouissement et les reflets, améliorant ainsi la clarté des œuvres d'art et des impressions encadrées. Contrairement aux feuilles acryliques à surface satinée classiques, qui ont une texture plus rugueuse, ASTARIGLAS® AG présente une surface plus lisse qui élimine efficacement les reflets tout en améliorant le contraste des images et des œuvres d'art. Elle partage les mêmes propriétés que les feuilles acryliques à usage général, étant 17 fois plus résistante que le verre et pesant seulement la moitié de son poids.
L'impression directe sur des feuilles acryliques a gagné en popularité. ASTARIGLAS® AG est le matériau parfait pour imprimer des œuvres d'art directement sur sa surface brillante, car il améliore le contraste de l'œuvre.
ASTARIGLAS® AG présente une surface anti-reflet (non-brillante) qui répond aux critères de finition et de contraste (Section 4.30.5) énoncés par l'Americans with Disabilities Act. Cette section stipule que "les caractères et les fonds des panneaux doivent avoir une finition coquille d'œuf, mate ou autre finition non-brillante."
ASTARIGLAS® AG possède une surface anti-reflet conforme aux critères d’affichage et de contraste (section 4.30.5) tels que définis par la loi américaine sur les personnes handicapées (ADA). Cette section exige que les « lettres et les fonds des panneaux de signalisation utilisent une surface mate ou satinée (comme eggshell ou mat) qui ne reflète pas la lumière. » (Section 4.30.5 établie par l’ADA)

All ASTARIGLAS® sheet have been certified by Underwriters Laboratories to UL 94HB, the Standard for Safety of Flammability of Plastic Materials (for slow burning on a horizontal specimen).
ASTARIGLAS® BR have been certified by UL 752 level 1, this product provides protection against three shots of a 124-grain 9mm full metal copper jacket with lead core at an fps between1175 and 1293.
